For the 13th consecutive year PAYS 2008 will take place in a military facility close to Lisbon, from the 2nd to the 9th of August. The lectures and educational activities of this seminar will discuss NAT0’s new geographical engagements and its new outreach, focusing on the most demanding geopolitical, strategic and humanitarian issues challenging Atlantic security. For this purpose, Portuguese and foreign researchers and policy-makers will be invited to have fruitful discussions with the participants. In addition to that, a set of social activities will be arranged to make everyone’s stay in Portugal pleasant, entertaining and culturally enriching.
